If your planned dealership location is anywhere in Florida, you can get your background check done at Lakeland Fingerprinting. This license is required for the sale of motor vehicles but is not required to sell a privately owned motor vehicle.
All background screenings are done via your personal information and social security number (not your business federal employer identification number). The FDLE authorizes Lakeland Fingerprinting to perform these background checks in accordance with Florida administrative code and Florida statutes.
